Sam Hyka
Practice Manager
Sam is the Practice Manager and has been part of Garrison Animal Hospital team since the summer of 2019. He has been in Florida since 2008. On 1991, he got the Bachelor degree on Science and 2008 BSN Degree. Since then, he has been working as Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse in Lower Manhattan, New York and Carrollwood area in Tampa. Sam enjoys working with everyone and love helping animals. In his spare time he enjoys spending time outside the door and he consider his healthy balance as part of Nature’s balance.

Ashley Hammond
Receptionist/Social Media Manager
Since 2021, Ashley has been our Receptionist here at Garrison Animal Hospital, and is the first smiling face you'll see when walking through our door. She is also the Social Media Manager and the creative mind behind our online persona. Growing up with many animals throughout her life sparked the passion to be involved with them in any way she can, and her ability to connect with anyone will make your first impressions warm and inviting. She loves to read or play video games while snuggling with any one of her three cats, and enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter.

Christa Granado
Lead Technician
Christa is our Lead Technician and has been a part of the Garrison Family since 2021. She began her journey through the field of veterinary care in 2006 as a Kennel Attendant, and quickly made her way toward becoming a technician. Her love for animals has been prevalent throughout her life, and is the driving factor for the outstanding level of care she provides for each patient. Her outgoing and bubbly personality will make you feel right at home. She enjoys fishing in her free time with her son Issac and Boxer boys Joey and Mack.
